About Pino Bacinello
Pino Bacinello is President and founder of Pacific M&A and Business Brokers Ltd. He is a Certified Business Intermediary, Mergers and Acquisitions Master Intermediary, Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser, and a Certified Senior Business Analyst.
Having owned several businesses both in Canada and South Africa over the past 40 years, he has garnered much knowledge and expertise in buying, selling, developing and restructuring of privately held businesses. Through his own experiences, Mr. Bacinello recognizes that the process of selling or purchasing a business is a major undertaking. “There is a lot at stake and it must be done right the first time. The alternative consequences can be devastating” he says.
Pino’s vast knowledge of divestitures, acquisitions, mergers and succession has earned him the reputation he currently enjoys as an authority on the subject and a mentor to other professional business brokers and intermediaries in both Canada, US and abroad.
Pino lives with his spouse in Vancouver and is a member of the International Business Brokers Association, where he continues to serves in the capacity of director and past Chair. He has served in several capacities including, Chair of the International Committee, President and founder of the Canadian Chapter, Treasurer, Chairman of the Board and is a recipient of several prestigious awards. He is also a certified instructor and teaches on the subject of valuations, and systematic processes.
In addition to also being an equity partner is several other business enterprises including manufacturing, retail, and technology, he is also an active member in good standing of M&A Source, the National Equipment and Business Brokers Institute, the Association for Corporate Growth, the BBB of BC, and the Vancouver Board of Trade. Has co-hosted a weekly radio show on the Voice America Talk Radio Network titled “Entrepreneurial Insights”, and has served on the board of various not for profit organizations including the Peace Arch Community Service, was a founding member and is past President of the Semiahmoo Peninsula Marine Rescue Society and founder and past Unit leader of the Royal Canadian Marine Search And Rescue Station 5 in Crescent Beach. He has served on several advisory boards of colleges and universities and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Governance Officer for Small Business BC.
Pino also holds a Trading and Managing Broker License under the Province of British Columbia and is the broker of record.
